Doechii Delivers on “Anxiety” Solo Version

This is not a drill. At last, Doechii has dropped the solo version of “Anxiety.”

On Day 1, followers of Doechi recall the origins of “Anxiety”; initially, the Swamp Princess unveiled the track during one of her “Coven Music” YouTube sessions, quickly drawing a large number of views. Since Doechii’s breakout year, the popularity of this song has continued to grow. Later in 2023, Sleepy Hallow introduced another song titled “ANXIETY,” which included a piece from Doechii’s popular “Coven Music” creation. Fans have been eagerly awaiting an official release of Doechi’s solo version of the song ever since.

Underpinned by a sample of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know,” Doechii impressively demonstrates her musical versatility in the track “Anxiety.” She initially offers a more melodic chorus that beautifully showcases her vocal capabilities, followed by her distinctive, continuous flow for the pointed verses.

She begins her first verse with immediate intensity, saying, “Alone and not cool / I rise again, not playing around / In a bad mood, not defined / New opportunities, no labels / Cash on me, born to grind / Maybe I need a sneaky partner in Russia.
