Disney+ is getting more expensive. This week, Disney announced price increases for its streaming service, as well as for bundles that include Hulu and ESPN+.
New Price Hike
Starting October 21, Disney+ will cost $11.99 per month, up from the current $9.99.
Packages that combine Hulu and ESPN+, whether they include ads or not, are also getting more expensive. This is the fourth time the streaming service has raised its prices in four years.

Poor Timing With Other Issues
This news arrives as Disney is already dealing with criticism. They recently reinstated *Jimmy Kimmel Live!* after temporarily removing the show’s host due to controversial remarks about activist Charlie Kirk, which caused widespread media debate.

Reports indicate that ABC’s two largest affiliate groups, Sinclair and Nexstar, will not broadcast Jimmy Kimmel’s show when it returns on Tuesday.

This latest increase in price follows a series of major streaming moves by Disney in recent months:
