Disney is partnering with WEBTOON Entertainment for a multi-year project that involves transforming over 100 comics from Disney, Marvel, 20th Century Studios, and Star Wars into a vertical scroll format suitable for mobile reading. These reformatted titles will be showcased in a special section within the English version of the WEBTOON app.
In addition to traditional comics like runs and graphic novels, innovative webcomic series are being developed. These new creations will offer unique narratives for established characters within the realms of superheroes, science fiction, and adventure, tailored specifically for mobile viewers.
