Montreal skate brand Dime has announced another sneaker collaboration, this time teaming up once more with their long-standing partner, adidas, to revamp the Gazelle ADV. Previously modifying the Superstar, Stan Smith, and adidas ADI2000, Dime infuses Punk aesthetics into the Gazelle’s conventional design for a fresh take.
While the Dime Gazelle ADV’s black colorway began circulating online ahead of the announcement, a maroon variant has also appeared on the adidas web store, bringing a bolder alternative to the line-up. Both colorways are designed with premium leather and synthetic uppers atop a solid black rubber outsole. For a monochromatic effect, laces match neatly with the shade of the uppers and embossed branding is shown on the tongue. The new model centers on eye-catching but quiet silver studs where the stripe overlays normally reside. Aligning with the studs, Dime’s cursive wordmark is applied with chrome foil on the lateral panel and on the patent leather heel patch.

The Gazelle ADV model that Adidas usually creates with suede is given an upgrade by Dime’s special edition. This version boasts sleek leather, metallic embellishments, and glossy highlights. Its monochromatic design shares a resemblance to recent Dime releases such as the Merrell 1TRL Moc Speed Streak in black with patent leather accents, and the all-black Vans Mixxa featuring skater Una Farrar.
The special edition of the Gazelle ADV shoe from Adidas is usually made of suede, but Dime’s version makes it more stylish using leather, metal details, and shiny trimmings. It looks similar to other shoes from Dime like the black Merrell 1TRL Moc Speed Streak with patent leather parts and Una Farrar’s all-black Vans Mixxa.
The Dime adidas Gazelle ADV is set for release on the adidas web store on March 1 for $110 USD.
