As a long-time rock music enthusiast and avid gamer of graphic novels, I couldn’t be more thrilled about Def Leppard’s 2024 stadium tour with Journey and the exciting new projects from the band members!
Def Leppard is now touring in stadiums alongside Journey and alternating special guests such as Cheap Trick and The Steve Miller Band during the 2024 tour. The band has unveiled their latest stadium anthem titled “Just Like 73,” which includes a collaboration with Tom Morello. Additionally, Def Leppard’s guitarist, Phil Collen, is set to introduce his graphic novel named Hysteria during this period.
As a passionate reader and follower of the comic book industry, I’m thrilled to share my excitement about the latest venture of Colin Bell, as reported exclusively by The Hollywood Reporter. With his co-writing credits on this graphic novel from Vault Comics, he continues to expand his creative horizons and leave a mark in the medium.
In their report for The Hollywood Reporter, it’s mentioned that Collen, since his childhood, has harbored a deep affection for comics. He keeps two cherished editions – Silver Surfer No. 1 by Stan Lee and John Buscema, and The Incredible Hulk No. 3 by Lee and Jack Kirby – securely preserved at his residence in London.
I adore this graphic novel where the creator masterfully merges music and horror. In it, I follow Foz, an indie band’s charismatic frontwoman leading Darkside. One day, she inherits a guitar, ominously named “The Cursed Six-String.” Def Leppard makes a thrilling appearance in the narrative. This guitar, crafted from ancient Mesopotamian wood, guarantees fame and fortune. True to its word, Foz’s band starts gaining popularity. However, just when things seem perfect, tragedy strikes: their equipment gets stolen. In her determination to recover it, Foz’s hidden dark side emerges.
As a long-time fan of both comic books and classic rock music, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with fellow enthusiasts! If you’re looking forward to getting your hands on “Hysteria,” the upcoming graphic novel by Vault Comics, mark your calendars for pre-orders. This captivating story, complete with art that brings the band Darkside to life, is set to ship after November 30, 2024.
Def Leppard’s Summer Stadium Tour kicked off in early July and runs until September. In celebration of their album “Pyromania,” which turned 40 this year and is certified diamond, the band is showcasing lesser-known tracks from it on their current tour. Additionally, they have introduced a new expanded edition of “Pyromania” along with a fresh merchandise collection.
I’m really looking forward to the Summer Stadium Tour 2024, and I don’t want you to miss out on it either! Be sure to visit Def Leppard’s and Journey’s websites to explore the tour dates and grab your tickets and VIP packages for both amazing bands. It’s going to be an unforgettable experience, so mark your calendars and get ready to rock!
