DC Studios has dropped off the latest trailer for James Gunn’s highly-anticipated Superman.

The three-minute clip opens with Lois Lane interrogating Superman (Kal-El/Clark Kent) about a recent event. Despite Superman insisting that his actions were driven by a desire to save lives, Lois implies that he failed to consider the potential repercussions. As the teaser progresses, it hints at Lex Luthor’s upcoming role, Superman reuniting with his family in Smallville, and the adversaries he will encounter.

For the first time, David Corenswet takes on the role of a superhero. Joining him is Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt/Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason/Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern and Isabel Merced as Hawkgirl. The cast also includes Pruitt Taylor Vince, Neva Howell, Wendell Pierce, Skyler Gisondo, Beck Bennett, Mikaela Hoover, and Christopher McDonald.
