Dave Bautista, the popular actor from films like *Guardians of the Galaxy* and *Dune*, stars in the new action movie *Afterburn*, which was released in theaters last week.
The movie features Samuel L. Jackson and Olga Kurylenko alongside Bautista, who recently appeared in the new *Naked Gun* film and is continuing to work with other prominent actors in Hollywood.
While promoting his film *Afterburn*, Dave Bautista told Collider he now has a strict rule on set: he won’t work with anyone he finds difficult to get along with.
Dave Bautista explained that people often don’t understand how intensely collaborative filmmaking is. He said that working with difficult or unpleasant people can make the entire movie shoot a truly awful experience.
He described the situation as “terrible,” adding with a laugh that he’s reached a point in his life where time is too precious to waste. He wants to collaborate with people he genuinely likes and respects, because he’s passionate about his work.
I’m truly passionate about filmmaking, and I need to be around people who feel the same way. It’s something I love, and I want to enjoy the process with others who appreciate the opportunity. I have no patience for negativity or complaining when we’re all lucky to be doing what we do.
Bautista’s remarks emphasize the significance of a supportive atmosphere on film sets, particularly for actors who work long hours in close proximity to one another.
