Designer Craig Green and Fred Perry have revealed their second joint project, showcasing three fresh shirts dyed in tones reminiscent of tennis court materials. Originally created by Wimbledon champion Fred Perry, this iconic piece has been subtly infused with Craig Green’s avant-garde flair via an innovative dyeing process.
The design begins with a base of clean white shirts featuring vibrant green details resembling tennis balls. Each shirt incorporates thematic colors, such as red-clay brick, green grass, and chalk lines on the court, for its colorways. Instead of using the conventional method of garment dyeing, an innovative technique is employed to create the intentional variations in each item. The original white fabric is exposed beneath the collar and placket, along with the neon accents. Despite the unconventional color application, the colors are relatively toned-down, subtly hinting at each reference.

Green chose not to alter significantly the classic shape to maintain the authenticity of the well-known artifact. Yet, a minor modification from their prior collaboration is retained: Green’s round logo is discreetly placed beneath Fred Perry’s laurel symbol.
You can now purchase the Craig Green collaboration tennis shirts with Fred Perry from the Fred Perry official online store, as well as some preferred retailers.
