‘Code 3’ Tops Hulu’s Top 10 Most-Watched Movies List This Week

Hulu has a wide variety of movies right now, including popular films from theaters, updated versions of beloved classics, and consistently funny comedies. What’s trending on the platform shows people are watching everything from action-packed sequels to moving dramas. Viewers are enjoying both brand new releases from 2025 and old favorites, proving that Hulu’s extensive movie collection has something for everyone as tastes change.

‘RED 2’ (2013)

Former CIA agent Frank Moses brings his old team back together for a dangerous worldwide mission: finding a stolen, portable nuclear weapon. They’ll have to fight off waves of killers, terrorists, and corrupt politicians to succeed. Their search takes them to cities like Paris, London, and Moscow, where they depend on their classic spy techniques to save the world. This movie continues the action and humor of the first film, and stars Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, and Mary-Louise Parker reprising their roles.

‘Anyone But You’ (2023)

Bea and Ben had an incredible first date, but things quickly cooled off. Months later, they unexpectedly run into each other at a wedding in Australia. To avoid awkward questions from family and friends, they pretend to still be a couple, despite secretly disliking each other. As they try to pull off the charade and navigate a series of funny mishaps, old feelings begin to resurface. This hit romantic comedy stars Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell.

‘Twinless’ (2025)

This film tells the story of two men who find connection and healing after meeting in a support group for those who’ve lost a twin. As they grapple with their grief and learn to live without their brothers, they forge an unexpected friendship. The movie delves into questions of identity, the pain of loss, and the special bond between twins. Starring James Corden and Enver Gjokaj, this project represents a move towards more dramatic roles for both actors.

‘Superbad’ (2007)

Okay, so this movie is seriously one of the funniest teen comedies ever made! It’s about these two high school seniors, Seth and Evan, who are totally reliant on each other. They’re desperate to get alcohol for this huge party before they graduate, hoping to finally impress the girls they like. But what starts as a simple plan quickly turns into a complete disaster – they run into some really weird cops and just keep facing one obstacle after another. It’s hilarious watching them and their friend Fogell try to handle everything, while also dealing with the stress of growing up and the fear that their friendship might not last after high school. Plus, it’s where I first discovered Jonah Hill, Michael Cera, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse – they’re all amazing in it!

‘RED’ (2010)

Okay, so I absolutely loved this movie! It’s about Frank Moses, a former super-spy who thought he’d left that life behind. But someone tries to kill him, and he quickly realizes his old agency is coming after him. What’s awesome is he doesn’t try to handle it alone. He calls up his old crew – a bunch of retired specialists – and they get back into action. It’s fun watching these older guys, with all their experience, outsmart younger, tech-savvy opponents. The cast is incredible too – Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, and Morgan Freeman are all in it! It’s actually based on a cool comic book series, which I thought added a nice touch.

‘The Ritual Killer’ (2023)

Detective Lucas Boyd is haunted by the loss of his daughter as he investigates a serial killer who uses ancient African rituals in his crimes. To decipher the killer’s motives, Boyd teams up with Dr. Mackles, an anthropology professor with a hidden past. Their investigation takes them through increasingly disturbing crime scenes, forcing them to question everything they believe. This suspenseful thriller blends modern crime-solving techniques with the mysteries of ancient traditions, and stars Cole Hauser and Morgan Freeman in a gritty, atmospheric setting.

‘Bad Moms’ (2016)

Amy Mitchell seems to have it all together, but she’s secretly overwhelmed by the pressures of being a modern mom. She teams up with fellow exhausted mothers, Kiki and Carla, to break free from their daily routines and finally prioritize some fun. Their rebellious behavior clashes with Gwendolyn, the strict president of the PTA. The movie explores the challenges mothers face and the power of women supporting each other, starring Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn as the three main characters.

‘Together’ (2025)

This horror movie centers on a family who moves into a new house and soon realizes it’s haunted by a dangerous spirit. As frightening events increase, they must band together to protect each other. The film highlights the strength of family bonds when facing terrifying circumstances, and delves into the emotional and psychological toll of the haunting alongside typical horror scares. Alicia Silverstone and Olivia Williams star in this story about fighting for survival and staying united.

‘The Toxic Avenger’ (2025)

I recently saw this absolutely wild movie about a janitor named Winston Gooze who works at a chemical plant. His life changes forever when he accidentally falls into a tank of toxic waste – and not in a good way! He comes out… different. Like, super-strong, monstrously different. It’s basically a modern take on a really bizarre, beloved film from the 80s, and it’s hilarious and action-packed. Peter Dinklage is incredible as Winston, totally owning the role. Plus, you’ve got Kevin Bacon and Elijah Wood showing up, which is just fantastic. It’s a really unique blend of action and comedy, and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something a little different.

‘Code 3’ (2025)

I just finished watching a really compelling film about two paramedics working a grueling 24-hour shift in L.A. It focuses on a seasoned veteran who’s close to retirement and his younger partner, and honestly, it’s a wild ride. They’re constantly thrown into these incredibly high-pressure medical situations, but the movie doesn’t shy away from showing the personal struggles they face too. It’s a raw and realistic portrayal of what it’s like to be a first responder, and the emotional and physical toll it takes. Rainn Wilson and Lil Rel Howery both deliver fantastic performances, and the film really captures the unique bond – and sometimes the friction – you find between people working in emergency services. Definitely a powerful and moving watch.
