Closer Look at a Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Turf “Reverse Mocha” Sample

Recently, Travis Scott has been dabbling in baseball, as his Cactus Jack Foundation consistently organizes the HBCU Celebrity Softball Classic game. This annual charity event serves not only as a fundraiser but also offers fans a chance to sport unique merchandise designed by Travis Scott himself.

In the year 2024, numerous participants donned a prototype turf shoe inspired by the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Reverse Mocha”. Recently, we’ve gotten our closest glimpse at this unique sneaker as an unopened pair has been put up for sale by a reseller. The traditional upper maintains the classic Air Jordan 1 Low OG construction with color patterns that mirror its original design, except for the tongue and heel branding which have been swapped from red to a vibrant tangerine orange. The most significant change is the standard court sole being replaced with a performance-oriented sole, modeled after the tooling of the Zoom Trout 3.

As a die-hard fan, I’ve got to break it to you – the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Turf “Reverse Mocha” design, or any other colorway for that matter, isn’t likely to hit retail shelves anytime soon. But if you’ve got deep pockets and a passion for rare sneakers, check out @depeche23mode on Instagram. They’ve put up their deadstock pair in a size US 10, with a starting bid of $20,000 USD. It’s a dream for any rager like me!
