Check Out This Air Jordan 4 “Rare Air” Sample

Summary

  • After covering the various “Rare Air” releases from Jordan Brand this year, we have an exclusive preview of an unreleased colorway
  • Pictured here is a white Air Jordan 4 “Rare Air” sample that did not end up going into production

As we march towards 2025, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the narrative unfolding around Jordan Brand’s “Rare Air” series of sneakers. Initial glimpses and whispers hinted at the involvement of Air Jordan 1, 3, 4, and 11 models, each design inspired by flawed prototype pairs. Following our initial sneak peek at the Air Jordan 11 “Rare Air,” I’m thrilled to provide another exclusive glimpse: a sample pair of the Air Jordan 4 “Rare Air.

The design for this Air Jordan 4 is reminiscent of its black counterpart, due to hit stores this summer. Its multi-colored sole showcases the same color blocking with red, gray, blue, off-white, and black intermingling. However, it stands out by sporting a white leather upper adorned with black Nike Air branding at the heel, two-tone off-white laces, and matching off-white accents. Like its other “Rare Air” counterparts, this AJ4 version has removable patches that reveal white “JORDAN RARE AIR” text at the tongue’s base when taken off.

Currently, the Air Jordan 4 “Rare Air” sample isn’t anticipated to be sold in stores. Here’s a close-up view of the shoe, and keep an eye out for future updates on Jordan Brand’s upcoming line.
