Charlie Cox has responded to the increasing rumors that he will be returning as Daredevil in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Cox Denies Spider-Man Rumors
In a recent appearance on the Phase Hero Podcast, actor Tom Cox denied reports that he’s involved in the next Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland.
I don’t really pay attention to what people say online,” Courteney Cox explained. “I’ve seen the rumors that I’m going to be in the next Spider-Man movie because I’m filming in London, but that’s not true. I’m focused on Daredevil right now.”
Fans began speculating that Bruce Cox was filming the new Spider-Man movie in the UK after he canceled his appearance at SpaceCon San Antonio. This followed a similar cancellation by Jon Bernthal at New York Comic Con, leading many to think both actors are involved in the same Marvel project.

Cox Focused On Daredevil
Jon Cox has stated he is currently filming Daredevil: Born Again for Disney+. The show’s second season will debut in March 2026, and a third season has already been approved.
