Brooklyn Beckham lashes out at parents, David and Victoria Beckham, over wedding chaos
The 26-year-old shared a detailed story about his wedding on social media, including a moment when his mother unexpectedly interrupted his first dance with his wife. He said she danced inappropriately on top of him in front of all the guests, making him feel extremely uncomfortable and humiliated. He also explained that the wedding planning was stressful, claiming his mother canceled the bride’s dress order at the last minute, forcing his wife, Nicola Peltz, to rush and find a new one.
The wedding planning also had other problems, specifically with the seating chart. The 26-year-old explained that her mother even called her ‘evil’ because she and Nicola decided to seat both of their grandmothers – Nanny Sandra and Nicola’s grandmother – at their table, as neither of them had their husbands present.
Brooklyn Beckham revealed that when he confronted his family, they responded by leaking negative stories about him to the media. He claims his parents privately and publicly criticized him, and then shared those criticisms with the press.
He rejected the idea that his partner had been controlling him, and instead blamed his parents for micromanaging his life, even when it interfered with his work. He explained that his family prioritizes public image and endorsements above all else, stating, “For my family, the ‘Beckham brand’ is most important. They show affection through social media posts and expect you to drop everything for a photo opportunity.”
The Beckham kids include his two brothers Romeo and Cruz, as well as his sister Harper Seven.
