Brain Dead x adidas FW25 Preview Reveals Their Boldest Footwear Lineup Yet

Summary

  • Previews reveal that Brain Dead and adidas may be gearing up to release various models later this year, including the Barricade 13, Taekwondo, Climacool 2, and the new Brody King.
  • Bright green, yellow, and ultraviolet complement a base palette of black, silver, and beige components, while hairy suede contrasts with mesh and other synthetic textiles.
  • An official release date for the FW25 Brain Dead x adidas capsule has not been announced.

Moving on from the Stan Smith, Forest Hills, and Bowling Shoe, Brain Dead and adidas have already created a substantial collection of collaborative sneakers. But, glimpses at preview images from a Paris showroom hint that the Brain Dead x adidas assortment could expand significantly with possible new additions such as the Barricade 13, Taekwondo, Climacool 2, and the upcoming Brody King models.

The images appear to combine diverse models from different periods and styles, but they are unified by Brain Dead’s distinctive features such as vibrant colors, varied textures, metallic finishes, and a blend of retro and psychedelic designs. Green, yellow, and UV hues enhance the foundation of black, silver, and beige materials, while suede with a hairy texture stands out against mesh and other synthetic fabrics.

Among modern designs, the Barricade 13 stands out due to its performance-oriented structure and unique diagonal lacing system. Brand Dead offers a fresh take on this sneaker, releasing versions made from metallic silver mesh with yellow and beige highlights, as well as an ultraviolet suede version. adidas is also venturing into edgy, retro designs by introducing the Brain Dead Taekwondo – a flat-soled sneaker without laces, available in metallic silver and black leather finishes.

In other locations, the fresh Brody King sneaker appears to draw inspiration from the 80s Japanese boxing boot; however, it sets itself apart with vibrant flame designs that echo Mexican wrestling tradition. Interestingly, adidas has revived the Climacool 2 after nearly a decade, introducing a new knit upper with tiny perforations. The Brain Dead Climacool 2 comes in a green, yellow, and silver color scheme, along with a predominantly beige alternative. A distorted Brain Dead logo adorns the air cushion on the Climacool tongue, whereas the Taekwondo model features an emblem reading “Brain Dead Systems” in a corporate style.

At this moment, there’s no set launch date known for the FW25 Brain Dead x adidas collection. Keep an eye on TopMob for any upcoming news regarding its release.
