Bottega Veneta To Unveil New Headquarters In Lieu of Runway Show This Season

Stepping into the dynamic world of luxury fashion for Fall/Winter 2025, I find myself captivated by Bottega Veneta‘s unique approach. After Louise Trotter, previously at Carven, took over as creative director following Matthieu Blazy’s move to Chanel in January, the brand has chosen a different path. Instead of presenting a traditional runway show during Milan Fashion Week, they’ve decided to celebrate something equally special – the grand opening of their new Milan headquarters with an exciting store event this weekend. I can hardly wait to be part of it!

The brand new headquarters is set to unveil itself at the old Manzoni Theater on Piazza San Fedele, just a stone’s throw away from the Duomo. Initially constructed in 1870 and subsequently refurbished by Bottega Veneta in collaboration with Belgian architectural firm Office Kersten Geers David Van Severen, this historical building was also where Blazy presented his first runway show for the brand in 2022. However, Trotter’s inauguration won’t occur within the recently renovated premises; instead, three out of seven floors have been reimagined into a spacious showroom and cultural hub offering an immersive experience.

As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that this coming Saturday, I’ll be part of an extraordinary event featuring the legendary Patti Smith. Known for their innovative work, Soundwalk Collective, a music group based in both Berlin and New York, will be presenting Correspondences, their globally touring project. In an exciting twist, Patti Smith is set to premiere a heartfelt tribute piece dedicated to the renowned Italian architect Carlo Mollino and his iconic Casa Mollino in Turin.
