  • Production begins August 2025 with $98,600 USD MSRP and limited availability

The 2026 BMW M2 CS, an exclusive high-performance coupe, has been unveiled by BMW M. This model takes performance a step further with increased power, enhanced agility, and smartweight engineering. Making its first appearance at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, the M2 CS features a 3L inline-six engine that generates 523 hp, which is 50 hp more than the regular M2. Additionally, it has shed almost 100 lbs due to the use of carbon fiber elements and forged wheels.

In just 3.7 seconds, this M2 CS can accelerate from zero to 60 mph and reach a maximum speed of 188 mph. It transmits its immense power via an 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. For improved handling, it features a stiffer engine mount, adjusted chassis settings, and adaptive M suspension. Additionally, it comes equipped with M Compound brakes, with carbon-ceramic upgrades available as an optional extra.

As a thrilled admirer, I’d express it like this: Stepping inside, I find myself enveloped by the luxurious Alcantara-trimmed M Carbon bucket seats and gripping an exclusive carbon fiber adorned steering wheel – pure driving pleasure at first touch. The vehicle boasts BMW’s cutting-edge OS 8.5 infotainment system, a head-up display, and a spacious 14.9-inch control screen with digital climate controls for a seamless experience. Come August 2025, this beauty will roll off the assembly line at BMW’s San Luis Potosí plant in Mexico, priced from $98,600 USD.
