BEAMS Plus introduces “The Game Collection” in collaboration with the Japanese outdoor brand Mountain Research. This collection is a modern interpretation of classic hunting attire, featuring unique patch pockets arranged asymmetrically. The range includes coordinated pieces like shirts, shorts, and hats. Setsumasa Kobayashi’s label infuses its distinctive playful performance elements into BEAMS Plus’s more conventional Western-style outfits.
At the forefront of our assortment is the latest version of Mountain Research’s Hunting-Inspired Game Shirt, inspired by an antique hunting shirt belonging to Kobayashi. As quoted on the brand’s site, Setsumasa Kobayashi, founder of Mountain Research, has long been captivated by shirts boasting unusual pocket configurations. The design continues to reflect his preference for pockets of varying sizes adorning both sleeves and the main body, culminating in a spacious game pocket at the back. The backside also showcases embroidered images of woodland creatures such as rabbits, deer, and bears arranged vertically.
The hunting shorts come with pockets positioned around the waist for convenience and a roomy, loose fit suitable for warmer climates. Additionally, the bucket hats include pockets along the band, fully embracing the functional concept. Each design is available in multiple traditional shades such as khaki green, white, and camel tan.
The collection of Mountain Research Games together with BEAMS Plus x Mountain Research will be available for purchase starting from April 19, both online at the BEAMS Plus website and at selected physical stores.
