BEAMS Plus and Studio Nicholson have joined forces to create their first collaborative collection. Inspired by classic film style from the 1960s and 70s – think characters like Columbo and Annie Hall – the 19-piece “Made in Japan” line focuses on timeless menswear. It combines Studio Nicholson’s clean, adaptable designs with BEAMS Plus’s dedication to traditional Japanese techniques and high-quality materials.
Classic styles are refreshed with modern details. The PETER trench coat is made from water-resistant fabric, carefully hand-assembled, and lined with comfortable cotton. The PAUL blazer comes in charcoal and navy, crafted from a high-quality wool blend, and features a relaxed fit with distinctive gold buttons. The ALVY trousers, inspired by a timeless look, are available in soft corduroy, breathable wool, or crisp cotton twill, and come in tan, cream, charcoal, and navy.
This season’s everyday pieces are updated with modern shapes. The LISA shirt is a relaxed, oversized take on the classic Oxford, available in white, pale pink, or a striped pattern. The HOLLY denim pants are made in Japan on traditional looms from a blend of raw cotton, and come in faded or indigo washes. Completing the look is the GOLIGHTLY sweatshirt, featuring a comfortable, dropped-shoulder design and subtle details, in grey or navy.
