BATMAN: LEGACY OF THE DARK KNIGHT Recreates Iconic Museum Scene With LEGO

Wow! A famous scene from the original Batman movie has been wonderfully recreated using LEGOs! Many fans will remember the chaotic museum scene from the 1989 film starring Michael Keaton, where the Joker transforms a Gotham City museum into his own personal art space. Warner Bros. Games and DC recently shared a new animated clip from LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight that perfectly recreates this scene using LEGO bricks – and it’s fantastic.

Built entirely from LEGOs and set to Prince’s iconic song “Partyman” (originally from the 1989 film), this recreation perfectly mirrors the original scene. The Joker and his crew burst into a large room and completely destroy it, throwing paint and smashing sculptures. He even “signs” his handiwork on a LEGO version of Vermeer’s famous painting, “Girl with a Pearl Earring.” Just as Batman and Catwoman swing in, the Joker and his team escape.

Yes, there are some minor differences between the original scene and the LEGO version. For instance, the Joker writes “joke’s on you” in the LEGO set instead of his usual “Joker was here.” It’s a small change, but it doesn’t really matter. Overall, it was a fun surprise to see this scene recreated with LEGOs, and comparing the two versions is surprisingly cool.

Here’s the original scene from Batman (1989) for reference!
