As the year ends, people are tuning in to enjoy both festive favorites and exciting action films. The most popular titles right now include both nostalgic throwbacks and new additions to well-loved series, meaning there’s something for everyone to watch.

‘Shrek the Third’ (2007)

When King Harold gets sick, he unexpectedly names Shrek as the new ruler of Far Far Away, but Shrek isn’t eager to be king. He teams up with Donkey and Puss in Boots to find a more suitable heir, a rebellious character named Artie. Meanwhile, Prince Charming gathers a team of classic villains to try and take over the kingdom while Shrek is gone. Shrek needs to find his confidence if he’s going to save the kingdom and get back to his peaceful life in the swamp.

‘The Lost World: Jurassic Park’ (1997)

Four years after the events at Jurassic Park, John Hammond discloses the existence of Site B, a second island where dinosaurs roam freely. Ian Malcolm, a mathematician, is drawn into an expedition to study these isolated creatures, but the team quickly finds themselves the prey of the dinosaurs. Adding to the danger, a rival corporate group is also trying to capture the animals. The crisis reaches its peak when a T-Rex escapes and causes widespread destruction in San Diego.

‘The Grinch’ (2018)

Benedict Cumberbatch provides the voice for the grumpy Grinch, who lives alone in a cave on Mount Crumpit. The Grinch gets increasingly bothered by the cheerful Whos in Whoville and decides to steal Christmas by dressing up as Santa Claus. However, his plan is complicated when he meets a little girl named Cindy-Lou Who, who is determined to see Santa.

‘Jurassic Park’ (1993)

A rich businessman invites a team of experts to preview his island park, which features cloned dinosaurs. When the park’s power fails, the dinosaurs break free, and chaos ensues. Paleontologist Alan Grant ends up safeguarding two children as they try to survive the dangerous landscape. The group races to restore power and escape the island before becoming victims of predators like Velociraptors and the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ (2025)

A secret mission is launched to capture the world’s last three giant dinosaurs and collect their DNA, which could lead to a vital medical cure. Led by Zora Bennett, a highly trained team finds their operation complicated by a family who’s been shipwrecked on the same island. Together, they stumble upon a long-hidden and dangerous secret. Now, they must fight to survive the island’s dangers and secure the breakthrough that could save lives.

‘Nobody 2’ (2025)

Hutch Mansell, a man trying to leave behind a history of violence, is pulled back into that world when a new threat emerges. Forced to use the skills he’d tried to bury, he confronts consequences from his past that put his family in danger. ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ (2000)

Jim Carrey plays the Grinch in this movie based on the beloved Dr. Seuss book. ‘The Bad Guys 2’ (2025)

Once criminals, Mr. Wolf and his crew are trying to live honest lives, but it’s not easy. When a new villain endangers the city, they’re forced out of retirement. Now, they must use their old talents while staying on the right side of the law, discovering that earning trust is even more difficult than their previous crimes.
