Universal Pictures invites you for a trip down memory lane… to the cinema! This year, the iconic movie “Back to the Future” turns 40 years old. That’s right, four decades have passed since Marty McFly unintentionally rode Doc Brown’s time-traveling DeLorean into 1955. Despite fans having enjoyed this timeless film in various ways, this significant anniversary brings a fresh viewing experience. Universal Pictures is planning to re-screen it on October 31, and this re-release will feature a limited 4D engagement.
And, we at TopMob have your exclusive first look at the new poster for Back to the Future 4DX.
In a unique collaboration, Universal Pictures and 4DX are joining forces to offer a thrilling, multi-dimensional experience based on the classic movie Back to the Future. This partnership aims to make viewers feel as if they’re actually behind the wheel of the DeLorean themselves. For the very first time, this film will be screened in 4DX cinemas.
Jim Orr, President of Domestic Theatrical Distribution for Universal Pictures, stated that “Back to the Future” is one of the most memorable movies from the past fifty years. The movie’s humor, awe-inspiring plot, and unique storytelling still attract viewers of all ages. To mark the film’s 40th anniversary, it will be screened for the first time in 4DX format, providing fans with an even more immersive experience as they buckle up for a DeLorean ride. Every shake, gust of wind, and seat vibration makes time travel feel real. This combination of excitement and nostalgia fully engulfs audiences, making them feel like they’re being dragged through the fabric of space and time using special effects such as motion-synchronized seats, wind, fog, rain, lightning, snow, and vibration.
The poster for the movie beautifully encapsulates the excitement of both the film and its upcoming 4DX showings, transporting us into the DeLorean alongside Marty. In the image, we witness him reaching 88 miles per hour, as the space-time continuum seemingly unfolds before him. Above, the car’s mirror reflects the fiery tire marks left by Marty on his speedy escape.
Obviously there’s no plutonium in sight. If only…
Just like in the timeless film Back to the Future, spectators won’t require physical roads for this groundbreaking screening. Instead, their theater chairs themselves will be in motion! To secure your ticket, all you need is a 4DX pass, and they are available for purchase right here.
