Avengers: Doomsday Teasers Surpass 1 Billion Views as Marvel Thanks Fans

Marvel Studios revealed that the teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday has reached a huge milestone, getting over 1 billion views across all online platforms.

Okay, so Marvel just hit a huge milestone with their content – over a billion views! They celebrated by dropping a quick ‘thank you’ video to all of us fans. Pretty cool, right? It’s awesome to see so many people enjoying their movies and shows.

A post-credits scene appears before the newest countdown timer, further promoting Marvel’s popular “Doomsday is Coming” campaign. This campaign includes mysterious hints, trailers, and a live clock counting down to December 18, 2026 – the date the movie comes out in theaters.

YouTube Teaser Rankings Revealed

Although Marvel hasn’t shared exact viewership numbers for each platform, their YouTube channel reveals which Avengers: Doomsday trailer is most popular and which isn’t performing as well.

Current YouTube views (as of publication):

  • Steve Rogers teaser – 18 million views
  • Thor teaser – 17 million views
  • X-Men teaser – 15 million views
  • Wakanda teaser – 8.6 million views

Although the Wakanda trailer is generally doing well, it hasn’t gotten nearly as many views as the trailer featuring Steve Rogers – it’s currently less than half the amount.

We’re not sure if it’s because of when or where it was released, or if people just weren’t that interested, but this is the Marvel teaser that’s gotten the fewest views on their official channel so far.

The Doomsday Clock Ticks On

The latest countdown screen features the bright green “A” symbol we’ve seen in previous trailers, and also indicates the movie hasn’t received a rating yet.

The countdown itself continues to update in real time across Marvel’s digital platforms.

With fans buzzing about how Marvel is promoting its upcoming projects—and wondering what hidden details might be in the previews—the studio is deliberately creating excitement, hinting that these aren’t simple trailers, but rather pieces of a larger puzzle.
