Rumors about the Avengers: Doomsday trailer have shifted again, and this time the information comes from a prominent industry publication.
I just read in The Hollywood Reporter that Marvel’s doing something really cool for the Avengers: Doomsday marketing. Apparently, they’re releasing four different trailers, and each one will play before showings of Avatar: Fire and Ash in theaters. It sounds like a great way to get fans hyped!
Apparently, the marketing campaign will release one trailer each week, effectively making the campaign last for a whole month.
If true, this means moviegoers would have to see Avatar for four weeks straight to view all the different versions of the Doomsday trailer in cinemas.
Disney is likely trying to boost ticket sales for Avatar: Fire and Ash, as the film needs to earn a billion dollars worldwide to cover its costs.

Four Trailers, One Per Week
The Hollywood Reporter’s findings support recent discussions that Marvel has been creating several different versions of its trailers.
The fact that there are four versions, not just three, indicates a more ambitious plan than we first heard about.
Apparently, each trailer offers something new, featuring distinct clips and a different focus, instead of just being slightly altered versions of the same video.
It’s not yet known how much footage will be shared, but it seems like Marvel plans to reveal details about Avengers: Doomsday gradually, instead of releasing one big trailer all at once.
It’s also unknown if the trailers will become available online.

Release info
The new movie, Avatar: Fire and Ash, will begin showing in theaters on Thursday, December 18th, with a wider release on Friday, December 19th.
Avengers: Doomsday lands in theaters a year later on December 18, 2026.
