Last month, a noteworthy collaboration in the sneaker world was revealed by Steven Julien, founder of Apron Records, in partnership with Nike. On March 8th, they will launch their version of the Air 180, originally released in 1991 and reintroduced last year, dubbed as the “Dark Atomic Teal” edition.

Yet, there’s an unexpected turn – a second “Fossil Rose” edition of the shoe has been revealed. Much like its green predecessor, it boasts a blended upper material, but instead of green, it’s dressed in deep reds. The textured Swooshes on this version have adopted a pink hue that harmonizes beautifully with the metallic rose accents adorning the heel. Branding is evident at the heel, laces, sockliner, and distinctive razor-shaped dubrae to round off this unique take on the sneaker.

Currently, neither Apron Records nor Nike have announced when or if the second “Fossil Rose” colorway of the Air 180 will go on sale. Keep an eye out for news as we anticipate it to become available in stores within a few weeks through Nike SNKRS and select retailers, starting at $150 USD.
