It seems there’s a potential team-up in the works between Innersloth and HoYoverse, as hinted by recent social media posts suggesting a collaboration between Among Us and Genshin Impact.
In a recent post, Among Us shared an image featuring their spacesuit-clad mascot character, subtly hinting at Paimon from Genshin Impact. “Someone’s causing chaos on The Skeld… stay alert and watchful,” was the message accompanying the post.
In response to an image posted on Genshin Impact’s account, they shared another picture featuring Paimon giving a knowing, wary look. “Quite suspicious, indeed,” remarked HoYoverse.

Looking back now, it appears that HoYoverse subtly hinted at the upcoming collaboration in Genshin Impact during Version 5.8’s Natlan holiday resort. Certain images found there seem remarkably like the characters from Among Us, although they could initially be mistaken for depictions of Monetoo, the native creatures of the resort.
As a fervent admirer of this intriguing world, I can’t help but feel that the enigmatic figure of Paimon, shrouded in mystery as she is with her backstory and true self, is an ideal choice to spearhead this exciting collaboration.
There’s no official word yet about the extent of this collaboration, so it remains uncertain how closely Among Us and Genshin Impact will intertwine. However, given previous patterns, it might be premature to anticipate Among Us content within Genshin Impact. Conversely, Genshin Impact-themed skins in Among Us appear quite plausible.
As an avid fan, I’m thrilled about the upcoming addition of the Miliastra Wonderland UGC mode to Genshin Impact! This means that HoYoverse can introduce exciting crossover content while preserving the immersive world they’ve created for us players. It’s a win-win situation that promises fresh experiences without compromising the original game’s narrative charm.
