Amanda Seyfried made a striking appearance in London on Friday while promoting her latest movie, The Testament of Ann Lee. The 40-year-old actress and director Mona Fastvold attended a special screening at Picturehouse Central, and both women stood out in coordinated red outfits.
Amanda Seyfried stunned in a Giorgio Armani outfit as she arrived with her co-stars Scott Handy, Jamie Bogyo and his wife Marisa Abela, Matthew Beard, and Viola Prettejohn. Everyone commented on how glowing she looked on the red carpet.

Directed by Charlotte Fastvold, the film centers on Ann Lee, who established the Shakers – a religious group famous for its progressive views on gender and society. According to Searchlight Pictures, the movie portrays both the joys and struggles of her attempt to create a perfect society. It features over a dozen traditional Shaker songs, transformed into captivating dance sequences choreographed by Celia Rowlson-Hall, and an original musical score by Daniel Blumberg.

The movie, which came out in the US last month, will be released in the UK on February 20th. Amanda Seyfried is already getting great reviews for her performance, and has been nominated for Best Actress at the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards for a powerful and moving portrayal.
Wow, 2026 is shaping up to be a huge year for Amanda Seyfried! I recently saw her in The Housemaid with Sydney Sweeney – it was a real hit, and everyone’s been talking about how fantastic Seyfried was as Nina Winchester. Seriously, it’s one of her strongest thriller performances, in my opinion. And then there’s Long Bright River on Peacock, where she absolutely killed it – she even got a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Limited Series! I’m really impressed with the range she’s showing.
Amanda Seyfried has an exciting lineup ahead! She’s lending her voice to a character in the new animated series Ted: The Animated Series. There’s also talk that she’ll be starring in a currently unreleased film called Sandiwara, directed by Sean Baker, which might debut at the Berlin International Film Festival this month.
