Following our link-up on the Timp 5 BOA earlier this year, and now, Altra and Wander have returned with a fresh line of footwear – the upgraded Lone Peak 9+.

This special edition model presents a new perspective on Altra’s popular trail shoe, the Lone Peak, by incorporating Wander’s mountain-inspired style to enhance its technical structure. The unique design, which represents the first collaboration on the Lone Peak, showcases an exclusive Wander graphic and Altra’s Vibram® Megagrip traction for optimal grip.

As I step into these bad boys, they come in both red and black shades, but it’s not just their stylish colors that caught my eye. They’ve got Altra’s FootShape Fit, which lets my toes spread out naturally without any constraints, and a Zero Drop platform that keeps the heel and forefoot at the same level for ultimate comfort – making every gaming session a walk in the park!

Keita Ikeuchi, the designer and co-founder of and wander, expressed their enthusiasm for reinventing established outdoor equipment, blending functionality with style. The Lone Peak 9+ served as an ideal basis for them to create a product that not only performs well but also boasts a visually appealing design.
