Albino & Preto (A&P) is preparing to unveil a fresh collaboration with MEDICOM TOY: a high-end Kimono BE@RBRICK, merging martial arts tradition with artistic collectibles. This represents the conclusion of a six-year endeavor that started as a secret “Secret B@” in Series 38, now fully developed into an exclusive and striking launch.

The figure stands about 2.3 feet high and wears a white garment reminiscent of A&P’s Jiu-Jitsu uniforms, styled like a kimono. It’s clean, crisp, and has a distinct martial arts feel, with a thick black collar and inner sleeve lining. A black belt, symbolizing the 1st Dan rank, is tied around its waist. This belt includes a red stripe detail, referencing the grading system in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which will be recognized by experienced practitioners of BJJ.

The BE@RBRICK figure showcases a rich, warm, light-brown hue on its head and hands, giving it a luxurious, earthy appearance. A glossy finish has been applied, adding a touch of contrast through a white nose accent. This enhances the overall design aesthetic. The A&P logo is tactfully incorporated: it’s displayed on the upper sleeves and the right foot in vibrant orange and blue outlines. Meanwhile, the BE@RBRICK logo can be found on the left leg and across the back of the gi, both rendered in a similar color but with bold, block-text style that contrasts neatly against the white base, making them stand out clearly. Lastly, a small patch bearing the BE@RBRICK logo in NOGI style is noticeable at the back of the uniform, further emphasizing A&P’s focus on gi designs.

By skillfully blending traditional elements with modern design, this BE@RBRICK not only grows in size but also in narrative depth. This unique collaboration offers fans of both brands a collectible that is brimming with intricate details, cultural references, and exceptional craftsmanship. Mark your calendars for July 9th at 11 a.m. PST/2 p.m. EST as this collaboration will be available exclusively on the A&P website.
