adidas SPZL SS25 Revives Archival Three Stripes Hits

Adidas SPZL, an honorary label by adidas, has been commemorating the Three Stripes heritage for over a decade by releasing collections that blend the past and future, guided by curator Gary Aspden. Now, as the company is seeing growth in sales, this sub-label is back with new, updated versions of classic designs tailored for Spring/Summer 2025.

For this season, we have six unique footwear designs that blend traditional adidas silhouettes in an innovative way. The TRX Mesh SPZL subtly modifies the classic TRX style by featuring a bold “Blue/Yellow” color scheme and a revamped upper pattern. Meanwhile, the Handball Cup SPZL combines vintage mid-’80s handball aesthetics with contemporary design elements, such as a sleek leather overlay and vibrant red accents.

In the future, the Failsworth SPZL is inspired by the adidas Barbados shoe; the Pampanga SPZL is designed based on a unique Made in Philippines adidas Squire, and the Roelee SPZL combines elements of both the Gazelle SPZL and the Whallery SPZL. Completing our collection, the A. Aspden SPZL derives from the adidas Las Palmas, with its upper and tongue details influenced by various ’70s court styles.

In the meantime, the clothing lineup carries on SPZL’s stylish conversation, incorporating lightweight nylon parkas adorned with subtle iconography, as well as hoodies and tees embellished with their distinctive logo. Additionally, new Hudswell jackets and sports coats adopt a sporty aesthetic using ripstop materials, while Salesbury pants offer comfort with a tailored fit. To conclude the collection, vibrant bags inspired by ST raincoats are introduced, along with Mod Trefoil hats and socks.

New additions from the Adidas SPZL range, available only in restricted numbers, will hit CONFIRMED stores and selected retailers on the 27th of March. Have a glance through the collection showcased in the gallery provided.
