A$AP Rocky has been named as the inaugural creative director for Ray-Ban. This new position is fitting given that he’s frequently sported Ray-Ban sunglasses to enhance his stylish outfits. Renowned for his trendsetting impact in both music and fashion, Rocky aims to maintain this momentum with Ray-Ban Studios, contributing his distinctive perspective to the renowned eyewear label.
Starting off with a fresh start, Rocky is debuting the Blacked Out Collection, revamping Mega Icons using a novel lens type. This collection is set to drop in April, perfect timing for the brighter months ahead. Now at the helm of Ray-Ban Studios, which was established in 2016 to honor the influence of music and the tales of brave artists, Rocky expressed his enthusiasm by saying, “I’ve long admired Ray-Ban’s commitment to staying authentic while continuously evolving. I am thrilled to be a part of this rich history and contribute to writing the next chapter for such an iconic brand as Ray-Ban.
As a devoted admirer, I’m thrilled about The Blacked Out Collection that seamlessly merges Ray-Ban’s modern vibe with Rocky’s iconic flair. Instead of sticking to conventional designs, these styles have been amped up to Mega proportions, adorned with gold accents and revolutionary black lenses. But that’s not all – Rocky isn’t just designing eyewear; he’s also taking the helm for campaigns, revamping Ray-Ban stores to blend music, fashion, art, and more into a truly immersive experience!
