Japanese Hotel Opens Interactive Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah Room

As a dedicated fan of Godzilla, if ever I find myself in Tokyo, Japan, particularly in the vicinity of Shinjuku City, I would highly recommend paying a visit to Hotel Gracery. This unique lodging boasts an impressive 80-ton Godzilla head adorning its rooftop, making it one of the closest real-world experiences one can have with the mighty King of the Monsters.

Now, exciting news for fellow Godzilla enthusiasts: Hotel Gracery has recently unveiled a new “Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah” themed room! To get a glimpse of this fantastic space, take a look at the image provided below.

The recently unveiled “Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah” themed room was developed by Toho Visual Art, indicating their involvement as the intellectual property owners of Godzilla. This immersive space is equipped with adjustable lighting and sound systems, furniture, and an array of props. These props allow hotel guests to direct miniature versions of Godzilla and King Ghidorah in a film-like setting. The new room complements the existing “Godzilla Room” on the Hotel Gracery’s Godzilla floor, alongside other themed rooms. Notably, there are also rooms offering views of the towering outdoor Godzilla head statue that serves as a local landmark in the area.

Beyond that, the Hotel Gracery boasts a unique theme throughout its front desk, lobby, store, and lounge – all inspired by the legendary fire-breathing monster, Godzilla. Given his status as a quintessential Japanese symbol, dating back to his debut in films since 1954, it’s no surprise that even the corridors and elevators leading to the top floor are designed in a kaiju style. To mark its tenth anniversary, Hotel Gracery introduced a new Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah room on July 1. If you’re interested, you can make a reservation for this themed room on the Hotel Gracery Shinjuku website.
