Beate Karlsson’s AVAVAV is renowned for its humorous twists, and her ongoing collaboration with adidas Originals – initially launched for Fall/Winter 2025 and now moving into its second phase – represents some of the designer’s finest creations with a witty edge.

If you’re unsure about our tagline, the campaign images should help clarify it for you. Taken by Lennart Madou, these pictures show models striking poses reminiscent of America’s Next Top Model, but struggling to play sports instead. For instance, one model is shown lying on the ground attempting to roll a golf ball into a hole, and another is captured in a strong stance while being hit with tennis balls.

Additionally, you’ll find a set of three brief films featuring basketball sensation Kahleah Copper, skateboard maestro Marcos Montoya, and tennis titan Maria Sakkari. Each one exhibits extraordinary athletic feats that models attempt (and indeed, struggle) to replicate.
