In a short while, Wizards of the Coast is set to launch its inaugural showcase for the crossover game, “Magic: The Gathering – FINAL FANTASY”, at PAX East. This highly anticipated expansion was initially revealed in October and includes characters from 16 different FINAL FANTASY games, seamlessly blending them with the Magic universe.

Prior to our grand unveiling ceremony, we’re excited to share a special sneak peek into five cards inspired by FINAL FANTASY VII! Four unique illustrations of Secret Rendezvous showcase Cloud at the Gold Saucer amusement park on the skywheel, each paired with Tifa, Yuffie, Aerith, or Barrett.

Speaking of the initial card displayed, it belongs to the Magic: The Gathering – FINAL FANTASY Through the Ages set, a collection that reimagines classic Magic cards with a FINAL FANTASY twist. This specific card depicts Sephiroth transformed into Atraxa, Grand Unifier, and it was beautifully illustrated by renowned FINAL FANTASY artist Tetsuya Nomura.

Delight in this unique peek at all five cards shown and prepare yourself, as Magic: The Gathering – FINAL FANTASY will be released on June 13, available through Amazon and local card game stores. Stay tuned for further unveilings from the set as we draw closer to its launch.
