In a statement, Neil Druckmann, co-creator and co-director of the video game franchise, expressed his joy at seeing ‘The Last of Us’ so beautifully adapted, calling it a career highpoint. He thanked the fans for their unwavering support, crediting much of its success to his collaborator Craig Mazin, HBO, PlayStation Productions, and the entire team.
