Bobby Hundreds Has a Big New Job at Disney

Bobby Kim, who is often recognized as Bobby Hundreds, recently concluded a chapter by stepping away from his role as Creative Director at The Hundreds and shuttering their store on Fairfax Avenue. He’s now embarking on a fresh journey, merely a short drive away at Disneyland.

In a recent development, Kim has been appointed as the Vice President of Creative for the Americas at Disney Consumer Products. This position entails him overseeing the creative teams responsible for licensed products and theme park creations within the American region. Reporting directly to Marcus Rosie, Disney’s Senior Vice President of Global Creative, Kim will play a crucial role in shaping ideas and bringing them to life across various product lines such as toys, clothing, apps, books, video games, and more merchandise available on Disney Store online platforms, retail outlets, and theme parks.

Bobby, alongside Ben Shenassafar, established The Hundreds in 2003, which later became one of the most impactful streetwear labels over a span of more than two decades. Furthermore, Bobby is a successful author, screenwriter, producer, and creator of Family Style, an event that merges fashion with culinary arts. With over 20 years under his belt, Rosie remarks, “Bobby’s creativity and cultural impact extends beyond the realm of fashion.

In my opinion, his unwavering dedication to creativity and authenticity truly qualifies him as the perfect choice to spearhead our creative teams in the Americas. With him at the helm, I’m confident that we can continue to astonish and enchant consumers across our licensed products, theme parks, and Disney Store ventures.

Let Kim’s Disney era commence.
