To capitalize on this transition, adidas is expanding its selection of slip-on shoes by transforming the fashionable XLG Runner design into a mule. The XLG Runner made its debut in select markets at the end of 2024, showcasing a multi-layered construction that has drawn comparisons to Balenciaga’s lifestyle footwear, particularly the 3XL and Track Sneakers.

Upon first glance, the XLG Runner Mule is showcased in a flexible “Grey Four/Core Black” color scheme. The black and multiple shades of grey are consistently featured across this sneaker, with discreet Adidas Three Stripes logos strategically placed at the lateral midfoot, collar, toe, and sockliner.
