I’m thrilled to announce that this week, I’ll be unveiling my first joint collection with The North Face – a collaboration I’ve been eagerly anticipating! Originally showcased at my SS25 show in Paris last autumn, this project encapsulates the essence of exploration through a 7-piece, all-black ensemble.
By delving into The North Face’s historical designs, the new line seamlessly combines Bahnsen’s highly feminine style with the functionality of techwear. Highlights of the collection include the revamped Mountain Dress, a contemporary twist on the iconic Mountain Jacket, innovative updates for the Basecamp Duffel and Glenclyffe Boot, and more. This line is thoughtfully designed with exploration and sophistication in mind, ensuring that the outerwear pieces serve as protective layers over Bahnsen’s delicate floral patterns while maintaining a balance of function, durability, and a hint of femininity.
A new initiative has been introduced, featuring Brooke Raboutou – a 2024 Olympic silver medalist, Molly Thompson-Smith – a 2020 Olympic commentator and five-time UK national lead climbing champion, as well as professional climber Solenne Piret. This campaign highlights the bond between fashion and the outdoors by demonstrating the collection’s distinctive mix of aesthetics and practicality.
