It appears that after much speculation, it’s being reported that National Treasure 3 might finally become a reality. This news comes from trusted source Daniel Richtman (Daniel RPK), who claims that the long-anticipated follow-up is currently being developed at Disney.

This represents the largest overhaul in the series since the release of “National Treasure: Book of Secrets” back in 2007. Patient fans have longed for a third installment for almost two decades, but it seems that Disney has finally decided to make a move, as suggested by recent developments.

The rumor about Daniel RPK’s assertion that National Treasure 3 is being developed doesn’t contain much detail, but if it’s true that he’s saying this at Disney, then it’s a significant claim, so there’s a good chance it might be accurate.

Will Nicolas Cage Return?

Will Nicolas Cage reprise his role as treasure hunter Benjamin Gates? This is something that’s been up in the air, given Cage’s past hesitation. Last year, he explicitly stated that a third movie wasn’t on the cards, hinting that Disney was more interested in the Edge of History TV series over it.
