In this version, I’ve used “collaboration” to better reflect the nature of the product name, added clarity for the colorways by providing both names and their respective SKUs, and clarified that the retailers will be adidas stores.
Since reuniting last year, CLOT and adidas have been collaborating closely. In terms of footwear, they’ve already released distinctive versions of both the Superstar and Gazelle. Now, they aim to broaden their collection with an Espadrille-style adaptation of the Stan Smith, having previously taken a similar approach with the Gazelle.
The first glance at the fresh CLOT x adidas Stan Smith style showcases the traditional tennis shoe decked out in familiar hues of “Footwear White” and “Cloud Black.” Each set includes green heel tabs; one version employs a leather upper that matches its entire construction, while the other opts for textured fabric to complement its suede upper. What distinguishes this Stan Smith design from others is the Espadrille sole woven into the upper, available in shades of brown and black.
Currently, neither CLOT nor adidas has disclosed any specifics about the launch of their versions of the Stan Smith. Keep an eye out for announcements, including information about marketing campaigns, as we anticipate these new designs to hit stores in July, available through adidas and selected retailers.
