The North Face Celebrates 40 Years of the Mountain Jacket With Griff

In honor of the 40th anniversary of its renowned Mountain Jacket, The North Face is extending the festivities by launching a special 2025 “Mountain Jacket” series that pays tribute to its legacy and featuring British pop sensation Griff in a brand-new campaign.

Referencing its notable partnerships in the past decade with brands such as Supreme, MM6 Maison Margiela, and KAWS, this new collection further evolves the Mountain Jacket by enhancing its protection, sustainability, and functionality through two exceptional designs: the Mountain Jacket DRYVENT Mono and the Mountain Jacket GORE-TEX.

One option features a design that’s fully waterproof, complete with a single-material build that’s sealed at the seams and crafted from 100% recycled DRYVENT™ fabric (2L). On the other hand, the second one boasts GORE-TEX® for waterproofing, includes pit zips and alpine pockets, offering optimal performance in mountainous conditions.

In a major move for the 2025 Mountain Jacket campaign, Griff shares the limelight with snowboarder Blake Paul and skier Dennis Ranalter, both renowned athletes from The North Face.

In much the same way that music is essential for self-expression, fashion and my choice of clothing are equally important for me.
