Nike unveils a fresh color scheme for Sabrina Ionescu’s second personalized shoe, the Nike Sabrina 2, which they have brought back into the spotlight.

In the new version of the basketball shoe titled “Stronger Than Gold,” you’ll find shades of “Rattan,” “Khaki,” “Sail,” and “Metallic Gold.” This color combination draws inspiration from a Romanian bracelet that Ionescu received from her mother, reflecting the powerful backing she receives from her family.

As a thrilled admirer, I’m sharing an exciting update about the second-gen silhouette: It’s 28 grams delayed compared to its predecessor. The innovative CushIon 3.0 foam midsole, debuting first in a Nike basketball shoe, is encased within a robust CushIon foam container for durability. The forefoot boasts a Nike Zoom Air unit, delivering optimal energy return and responsiveness. Furthermore, a band system envelops the midfoot, ensuring a snug and comfortable fit. Lastly, the rubber outsole flaunts a fresh “S”-inspired herringbone pattern.

The distinctive Nike Swoosh symbol cuts across the side of the shoe, giving the impression of shattered glass from ceilings that Sabrina keeps shattering, as described by the sports brand. Additionally, an “S” shaped frame forms the overall design of the shoe, with embroidered patterns that subtly represent Sabrina Ionescu’s likeness.
