Bremont Reimagines its Siganture Terra Nova Collection in Bronze

Bremont recently introduced the Terra Nova Bronze Collection, featuring three designs adorned in bronze for the first time. Renowned for producing sturdy and rugged tool watches, the Terra Nova Bronze Collection uses Cupro-aluminum, a premium bronze alloy, combined with 904L steel to create these innovative new timepieces.

Cupro-aluminum boasts numerous benefits, such as its hypoallergenic qualities and enhanced scratch resistance versus regular bronze. This makes it hold its attractive look for longer periods. It’s slightly lighter than standard steel and bronze, which is crucial in wristwatches because every gram matters. The alloy offers a distinctive visual charm with a gentle golden tint and warm reddish undertone, gradually acquiring an even patina over time instead of the usual uneven green or black discoloration associated with traditional bronze.

Three models are showcased within this collection, each offering something unique:

1. A Time and Power Reserve model with a Bronze Turning Bezel and a dial that transitions from caramel to darker shades, known as the Caramel Gradient Dial variant.
2. A Date model, sized at 40.5mm, featuring a dial reminiscent of gold (greed dial).
3. A Chronograph version, slightly larger at 42.5mm, also boasting a gradient green watch face.

The limited edition Caramel Gradient Dial variant comes with a durable Cupro-aluminum bracelet and is available only in 100 pieces. The other models can be paired with nubuck leather straps or two-tone Nato straps.
