Grammy Awards 2025: Who is the host this year?

The Grammy Awards have a knack for recognizing exceptional talent, not only among those who win trophies in their respective categories but also in hosts they choose. If the Grammys find a host that suits them well and resonates with the audience, they tend to hold on to them. This principle has remained consistent from 2024, through 2025, and even in the years leading up to it.

Trevor Noah will once again entertain us with his wit when he hosts the Grammys for the fifth consecutive year. He’s consistently been hilarious, and it’s largely due to his ability to find humor in small, everyday occurrences rather than relying on insults or biting remarks to elicit laughter.

If you haven’t caught Noah’s stand-up act yet, I highly recommend it – it’s absolutely side-splitting! Notably, he excelled on The Daily Show for an impressive seven years. Since he departed, there’s been a continuous rotation of hosts, and each one has been competent. To give credit where it’s due, the reappearance of Jon Stewart once a week has significantly enhanced the show’s quality.

Trevor Noah will return again to host the 2025 Grammy Awards

Apart from Noah serving as the host, there’s a variety of shows put on by some of the nominated artists. For instance, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan are among them. Moreover, Shakira is scheduled to appear, and her performances never fail to be a must-watch event.

The 2024 Grammy Awards will air on CBS starting at 8 pm ET on Sunday, February 2nd, and continue until they conclude, which might mean staying up late since award shows often run beyond their scheduled timeframes. For comparison, the Oscars frequently extend past their allotted time. You can also stream the Grammy Awards live on Paramount+.

For three consecutive years now, starting this year, the Grammy Awards are scheduled to take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. However, there was a pause in 2022 when the event moved from LA and was held in Las Vegas instead. It’s reasonable to expect that by 2026, the ceremony will return to Los Angeles once more, possibly with Trevor Noah as the host.
