As a gamer, I’d say: “Man, I can’t believe the band managed to breathe new life into ‘I Heard It Through the Grapevine’, a tune that was played so much it felt like an old friend. Yet they somehow transformed it from a familiar tune into something fresh and exciting again.

As a die-hard music enthusiast, I can confidently say that John Fogerty’s raw, soulful vocals and his masterful guitar skills are the pulse of that album. His music has left an indelible mark on roots rock and Americana genres, inspiring countless musicians to follow in his footsteps. This is authentic Southern rock, but it’s coming from a band hailing all the way from sunny California.

Morrissey’s lyrics delved into melancholy, love, and social issues, while Johnny Marr’s groundbreaking guitar work laid the foundation for indie rock groups. “How Soon Is Now?” might be their most recognized song (it happens to be my favorite), but this album has its standout tracks for fans of the band.
