The fact that Wanda couldn’t sense her children, despite being able to connect with them through other means, is a plot twist that has left me scratching my virtual reality headset.
In the captivating series, Agatha All Along, one of the most intriguing puzzles revolves around the true identity of the “Teen.” This individual was marked with a special symbol that concealed his real persona from everyone else. Lilia Calderu cast this concealing symbol during Billy Kaplan’s Bar Mitzvah night, while performing a palm reading.
In our discussion, we’ve touched upon how this sigil may have played a role in the chaotic series of events depicted in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” where an unhinged Scarlet Witch wreaked havoc across various dimensions. Wanda was able to perceive her children existing in different realities, yet she required America Chavez’s unique talents to forge a connection with them.
Given our current understanding, the intriguing query arises as to why Wanda was unable to perceive both Billy and Tommy, despite them being alive. As for Billy, his case seems more plausible considering he bore the sigil, and even Lilia, who had cast it, failed to recall or sense him.
Once the symbol (sigil) shattered, Agatha pointed out that any witch with a pulse would now be able to identify Billy Maximoff. Due to the symbol, the Scarlet Witch herself was unable to perceive Billy’s presence.

It’s possible to interpret this situation in several ways, but one explanation could be that Billy and Tommy share an extraordinary magical link which might surpass the bond between Tommy and Wanda due to their being twins.
Perhaps Tommy hasn’t experienced reincarnation as of yet, and it’s actually Billy who’s sensing something unusual. There have been whispers about Marvel Studios developing a solo project centered around Wiccan, specifically following Billy’s quest for Tommy. This implies that Tommy might not have reached the final destination on the Witches’ Path and could be difficult to locate.
It’s plausible that a mysterious, dark entity, similar to Mephisto, could be concealing Tommy from Wanda and manipulating him as a means to ensnare Billy in its schemes. Given his magical prowess, Billy possesses the ability to surpass Wanda in power. The actor has hinted that Billy is currently the most powerful character on the series.
The final option is that this is just a simple plot hole in the story, but we hope that isn’t true because this situation could lead to an exciting story.
