As a lifestyle expert with a deep respect for personal journeys, I admire Khloé Kardashian for her courage and transparency in sharing her health experiences. Her recent decision to undergo cosmetic procedures to repair the dent left from her melanoma tumor removal is a testament to her strength and resilience.
Khloé Kardashian is no longer keeping secrets about her cosmetic treatments; instead, she’s being open and transparent. As a reality TV star, she has been on a healing journey since having a melanoma tumor removed from her cheek in 2022. On October 11, the founder of Good American brands gave her followers an update about her skin treatment progress.
She recently posted a video on Snapchat showing that she had undergone facial fillers to correct a hollow left after a tumor surgery. In her now-expired post, as reported by E!, she explained, “The surgery and the removal of the tumor by my amazing doctor resulted in an indentation on the side of my face.
Khloe mentioned that it took her 9 months following surgery to have the indentation filled. She explained that she had to wait a while before using a needle in her cheek, ensuring “medically everything was safe.” Once her doctor gave the approval, she underwent the procedure. As reported by E!, the reality star shared selfies showcasing her cheek structure before and after the treatment on social media.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d express it like this: Around two years back, I found myself sharing a challenging journey on our family’s reality show, The Kardashians. A tiny lump appeared on my face, which I initially thought was just a common pimple. However, after seven months of observing that it didn’t heal, I decided to have it examined. To my surprise, it turned out to be a melanoma tumor.
After undergoing two biopsies with different doctors, she found out that it was a rare skin abnormality, especially for someone her age. However, she later noted that “Melanoma is deadly,” and was way more serious than she had anticipated.
Having had Melanoma at age 19, she feels compelled to share her experience and promote education. She stated, “I’ve had a brush with Melanoma. Regardless of that, it’s crucial for everyone to routinely check themselves.
Despite religiously taking care of her skin and wearing sunscreen every day she was diagnosed with the skin abnormality. However, it acted as an eye-opener to get regular check-ups for her skin. “Please take this seriously and do regular self-exams as well as your annual checkups,” she urged her viewers at the time.
