A Diddy sexual abuse hotline received 12,000 calls in just 24 hours

As a seasoned observer of society, I find myself deeply disturbed by the mounting allegations against Sean Combs, also known as Diddy. The sheer number of individuals coming forward with claims of sexual abuse is staggering and heart-wrenching, reaching an astonishing 120 victims. It’s a chilling testament to the pervasiveness of such behavior in our world.

Last month Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee said he was representing 50 people who accused Diddy of sexual abuse, and that number has since swelled to 120. On top of that, Buzbee created a hotline for Diddy’s alleged victims, and it received a whopping 12,000 calls in a 24-hour span.

Buzbee, proprietor of The Buzbee Law Firm, shared his thoughts on the hotline with Law & Crime, expressing reasons as to why he thinks such a high volume of calls were received.

“I think the indictment and the arrest kind of gave people a little more comfort that they had more safety and support to step forward,” he explained. “When I made an announcement that I was going to pursue this case, the floodgates really opened. In a 10-day period, we got 3,200 calls, and then from the press conference we had yesterday, we had 12,000 calls in about 24 hours.”

In another part of the conversation, Buzbee mentioned that he would also investigate individuals linked to the alleged criminal activities and sex parties involving Diddy.

He stated, “We’re certain that there were individuals present during some of these incidents. In my opinion, if you played a part, gained from it, promoted it, or watched it unfold without taking action to halt it – particularly when minors were involved – then I believe you hold civil responsibility for any related issues.

On September 17, Diddy was taken into custody at a New York hotel, where he was accused of crimes related to sex trafficking involving force, deception, or manipulation, racketeering conspiracies, and arranging prostitution. At a subsequent press conference, U.S Attorney Damian Williams disclosed that the 54-year-old had organized “freak-off” parties, which allegedly involved these activities.

Additionally, a federal agent involved in the searches at Diddy’s residences in March claimed that the influential entrepreneur had installed surveillance cameras within what appeared to be private spaces for intimate activities. Furthermore, it was suggested that visitors to these areas were being secretly filmed from multiple vantage points.
