‘Couldn’t Be Lucky Enough’: Dance Moms’ Kalani Hilliker Announces Engagement To Nathan Goldman

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for detail, I must say that Kalani Hilliker‘s romantic proposal by Lake Como, Italy, is nothing short of breathtakingly elegant and heartwarming. Her life journey from being a Dance Moms alumna to a dance teacher and mental health advocate is truly inspiring, and her engagement to Nathan Goldman seems to be the cherry on top of a beautifully crafted life story.

Over the weekend of August 17, Kalani Hilliker, a former Dance Moms star and current dance instructor/mental health advocate, announced her engagement to boyfriend Nathan Goldman after he proposed by the picturesque Lake Como, Italy. Hilliker first appeared on the reality TV show in its fourth season and left during the seventh.

“Ever since I laid eyes on your posts, Nathan, I’ve been smitten! Now, as we stand on the brink of forever, I feel nothing but gratitude for being your future spouse. You have my heart, my love, and a piece of me that will always be yours 🤍🦋

In one of her posts, the popular lifestyle influencer showcased a large oval-cut diamond ring from Brilliant Earth. The wedding date remains undisclosed for now. The couple’s European holiday wrapping up in Lake Como marked the end of their late-summer trip. Just six months into their relationship, investment banker Goldman and Arizona event coordinator Audrey Wood orchestrated a surprise proposal.

Before the public announcement of their relationship, Hilliker shared some additional peeks into their Italian vacation on her Instagram Stories. These sneak-peeks showcased them enjoying a piano performance, watching fireworks, and savoring truffle-poached eggs. It was during Coachella in April that Hilliker began dating Goldman. On social media, she posted stories showcasing their golf outings, participating in photo shoots together, and celebrating the Fourth of July with fireworks this summer.

A couple of weeks past, during an interview with Us Weekly in May, she expressed her excitement about her new boyfriend ahead of the Dance Moms reunion on Lifetime. She declared, “He’s fantastic,” and noted that Goldman hadn’t been a big fan of Dance Moms. “To be honest, he didn’t watch it, but I think his family might have watched it in some manner,” she stated. “However, he didn’t watch it. We don’t need to watch it. We only watch clips occasionally because they’re amusing.”

At the time, Hilliker disclosed that her partner isn’t active on Instagram or TikTok. In May, she expressed that her boyfriend is completely detached from these platforms, yet she appreciates this because she is very engaged herself and finds it refreshing to be with someone who is not. She added, “It’s quite pleasant to have someone who’s out of the loop.” This means he doesn’t have the TikTok app installed, which Hilliker thinks is fantastic as it ensures he won’t catch a glimpse of her TikTok content.

Among the former Dance Moms cast members who appeared on Lifetime’s Dance Moms: The Reunion TV special that aired on May 1st was Hilliker. Nowadays, Hilliker serves as a dance instructor. While Goldman’s Instagram account is set to private, according to his bio he graduated from The Ohio State University in 2020. His LinkedIn profile reveals that his professional background involves work as a protection and control engineer.
