Ana de Armas Rocks a Sheer Black Gown That Leaves Little to the Imagination in The Latest Throwback

Ana de Armas is turning heads with a stunning look from the 2024 Louis Vuitton show in Paris. Videos are circulating of the actress wearing a bold, see-through black lace dress that blends gothic romance with contemporary fashion.

As a total cinema fashion obsessive, I was completely captivated by her outfit. The delicate floral design layered over a skin-toned fabric created this almost invisible effect – it was so subtle, yet incredibly striking and really highlighted her established relationship with the brand. It was a look I won’t soon forget!

I’ve been watching Ana de Armas for a while now, and it’s amazing to see how far she’s come! She started as someone with so much potential, and now she’s a huge star, a real fashion icon. Even looking back at old clips, she just owns any outfit, especially those stunning gowns – she always looks so confident and comfortable taking risks with her style. She recently shared that she’s always been drawn to the hard work this job demands, and that she believes you have to be willing to challenge yourself, both with the roles you choose and how you present yourself to the world. I totally get that – it’s inspiring to see her embrace that!

She’s getting ready to go back to Los Angeles to start filming the English version of the Polish thriller, Sweat. She’ll be playing Emma Kent, a popular fitness influencer whose seemingly perfect life falls apart after a troubling run-in with a competitor and a stalker, in a film directed by J. Blakeson.

This role marks a change of pace for the actress, who recently played a skilled assassin in From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, a film featuring Keanu Reeves and the late Lance Reddick.

In addition to her action roles, Ana recently appeared in Ron Howard’s film, Eden. This historical thriller, based on a true story of settlers on a remote island in the 1930s, stars Jude Law, Sydney Sweeney, and Vanessa Kirby alongside Ana. The role allowed her to showcase a more vulnerable and powerful side than audiences typically see from her public persona.

In 2026 and 2027, Ana de Armas will team up with Tom Cruise again for the underwater thriller Deeper, directed by Doug Liman. She’s described preparing for the role as involving intense training and demanding physical stunts. She’s also in discussions to appear in a new drama called Reenactment, alongside Benicio del Toro and Cameron Diaz.

Even with a demanding career and well-known projects, Ana continues to seek out roles that push her creatively. She believes her foundational training in Havana gave her the ability to think on her feet and adjust to new situations. “My career has always been about adapting,” she explains. “That’s why I’m constantly looking for new challenges.”
