Now, another popular franchise, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, is joining the fun with its own interactive toy. We’re excited to exclusively reveal that The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will release a ‘Hatchin’ Yoshi’ toy to celebrate Yoshi’s appearance in the film, letting fans bring him home before the movie even hits theaters. Spin Master’s new Hatchin’ Yoshi is super cute – even more so than their T.rex toy! But don’t worry, it’s just as much fun to play with. Here’s the official description of the toy:
I’m so excited to hatch my own interactive Yoshi, just like the one from The Super Mario Bros. Movie! It’s really fun – you start by gently tapping, knocking, and rocking the egg. When it’s time, the egg will start rocking by itself, and if you listen closely, you’ll hear sounds and see cracks appear. Then, Yoshi actually pops out and says “Yoshi!” It’s amazing!
After Yoshi hatches from his egg (which Toad isn’t thrilled about!), he’s ready for fun. You can play with him by gently patting his head or touching his nose. You can also interact with Baby Yoshi by pressing down on his shell – he’ll respond if you talk to him!
Don’t wait for the Super Mario Galaxy Movie to get your own Yoshi plush! The Hatchin’ Yoshi toy will be available before the movie’s release on April 1st. You can pre-order it starting February 15th, and it will first be available on Walmart.com on February 20th. It will then arrive in Walmart stores and other retailers on March 21st.
Could Spin Master’s Hatching Yoshi toy be the biggest hit from The Super Mario Bros. Movie? It’s definitely a strong possibility.
